As you know Shaun and I are currently in the process for looking for our first home together. As you can imagine it is a very long process and to make myself feel like I am doing something constructive towards our (dream) home now, I have been searching for furniture, wallpapers, paints, cushions and accessories online. You can see my Living Room Inspiration Pinterest board here.

I was recently introduced to BoConcept and was taken aback with their sleek, contemporary and high end designs. BoConcept offers not only a great range of designer furniture and accessories at an affordable price but also a free interior design service.. yes you heard (read) it right – free!! You can read about the Interior Design Concepter Rachel here.

Our homes are full of great stories. About ourselves. What we love and what we like to do. We surround ourselves with what we like. What is important to us and what makes it easier to live the life we want. So when we come home, we feel at home. The home of BoConcept is Denmark where we have been designing and manufacturing design furniture for more than 60 years. BoConcept
When it comes to home design – I love neutral colours, pastel tones and clean lines and I found BoConcept furniture ticking all the right boxes! Take these designer sofas for instance. My favourite was this sleek Monaco designer sofa with lounging unit. It is elegant and sophisticated – exactly what I am after, when I will be styling our living room.

My second favourite designer sofa is this beauty from Cenova range. As much as I love it, I know how clumsy I am so I should really stay away from white!
It does look stunning don’t you think?

Once the sofa is sorted – time to accessorize the living room! If you want to add a splash of colour into your room but don’t want to to splash out on a new sofa every time you change your your mind & colour scheme – use accessories such as cushions, vases, lamps, artwork and candles.

I am not a huge lover of bright colours in my own home, so I tend to go with pastels. My current favourites are duck egg and taupe colours.
You can find a number of fabulous accessories and decorations on BoConcept website – from rugs and textiles, to elegant tealight holders and vases. I found these gorgeous tealight holders as they fit my colour scheme perfectly.
Don’t forget you can add colour in your home with some fresh flowers or plants too! If you are not a fan of fresh flowers, there are hundreds of possibilities using some silk flowers that will last a lot longer!

I have absolutely fallen in love with BoConcept and their designer pieces. Every piece is unique, contemporary and sleek. You can see the hard work and passion that has gone into each piece.
Passion and persistence are what move the people behind the BoConcept brand, whether they are designing a wall unit, leading a team, or managing a store. BoConcept
