Most women dream about owning a designer bag, dress or shoes.. When it comes to me, I enjoy nothing more than looking at glossy interior design magazines and dreaming about a super chic piece of designer furniture instead. We all want our homes to look amazing, whether it is done on a budget or by splashing the cash. Sometimes, investing in one designer furniture piece can make a big difference! When it comes to designer furniture, there is only one brand I am going to and that’s BoConcept.
2017 promises to be very interesting and quite opulent in interior design. Jewel tones, different textures, mixed patterns and marble being some of the key elements. Based on these trends I have chosen my favourites from BoConcept.
1. Designer Sofa
We all have a sofa in our house! How did you choose yours? Whether it was the price, colour or design that made you choose the one you have, it is probably the most used piece of furniture in your home (apart from your bed). Following the jewel trend, I found this beautiful corner sofa!
To add some modern flair and make it stand out even more add some Patrice Murciano cushions, my favourite is this beautiful Marilyn print.
2. Marble
I absolutely adore marble effect, whether it is real or faux effect. This Marley marble table from BoConcept is absolutely gorgeous! It is simple yet sophisticated in design and would go nicely anywhere in the house. This no doubt would be a nice statement piece in any home!
BoConcept also has this stunning Murcia White Marble and brushed steel coffee table, which I absolutely love.
3. Mix Different Textures
Don’t be afraid to mix different textures in your home. I love mixing modern with traditional as I think it gives a nice fresh look. I found this beautiful leather Nice armchair, which is a statement piece in it’s own right. Leather has a luxury feel but add different textures to make the super cool leather look a bit more warm and inviting.
- Nice Armchair – BoConcept 2. Cable Knit Plaid – BoConcept 3. Block Coloured Cushion Cover – H & M 4. White and Gold Lamp – TK Maxx
What do you think of my picks?
Our homes are full of great stories. About ourselves. What we love and what we like to do. We surround ourselves with what we like. What is important to us and what makes it easier to live the life we want. So when we come home, we feel at home. The home of BoConcept is Denmark where we have been designing and manufacturing design furniture for more than 60 years. – BoConcept –

I adore that arm chair. I have been looking for something like that to go in my new office.
I love the white marble coffee table – it’s beautiful! x
I too, love to mix different textures and fabrics, I think it makes a look that much more interesting. Marble is also a favourite, I like the colour of the marble in the sofa table you have picked out.
Ooooooh, I’m actually planning a trip to Edinburgh soon so I’d love to check out the shop. Might not be able to take a sofa home on the train with me though.
I love the concept of this! Great colours and textures – let’s you come up with a different look rather than follow all the same trends – fab!
Those marble tables are cool and a bit retro. I like the different texture look, I use different textures in my lounge, with cushions and throws.
That marble table is cool and i love the grey knit!
I couldn’t agree more about mixing textures. I have a leather sofa with a chunky knit throw and satin cushions. Doesn’t sound like it should work but it does
That throw and the cushions are absolutely beautiful. Would love them
I enjoy interior decorating too. Love the look of the Marilyn cushion.
What a great mix of different textures and fabrics .. it makes a room that much more interesting and inviting. At our house we’ve been doing more and more with marble .. and I really like the color of the one you chose
I really like the lamp and was expecting it to be a whole lot more expensive than that x
Oooo I’m defo more like you, I prefer looking at home interior than a designer bag etc!! I love the use of different textures I try this in my own home and it really adds definition to a room!
The white marble table looks gorgeous. My friend bought something similar and it looks fantastic in her house.
some beautiful products. I love the mix of textures and fabrics
I’ll have to check out this shop next times I’m in Edinburgh, some lovely items! xo
I love the greys. Any of that collection would be idea for our home.
These are incredible designs, I love that sofa teamed with the Marilyn cushion.
That Marley table is amazing! I absolutely love the look of marble as well.
I love the coffee table and the arm chair then i’ll put the Marilyn cushion to add colors to it.
It looks like they’ve got some very interesting interior features and chic furniture.
Sounds like a great place to shop, I love the armchair and throw
