We were so lucky to be part of the Wellness Festiv We were so lucky to be part of the Wellness Festival & Pilates World Record Attempt at Knockaloe yesterday - the very place where Joseph Pilates created it all 💙 This day was about far more than setting a world record. It was a celebration of the community - bringing people together through movement while celebrating the Island’s unique connection to the creator of Pilates, Joseph Pilates himself. More than 2800 people took part but unfortunately we didn’t manage to set the main record BUT we did secure another record of the highest number of people performing the “standing roll down exercise simultaneously ”. 👏🏼 so I’m officially a record holder 🙌🏼 big shout out to the organisers and everyone who took part ..

To reply to the comment: yes and no … it took a lot of prep work to get to the final result and although the stairs were decent enough underneath it still took a bit of fixing.. from stripping the paint, repairing the gaps, cleaning and sanding.. to priming and painting.. what do you think was it worth it ?

I came to the Isle of Man in 2004 for the summer . I came to the Isle of Man in 2004 for the summer .. I met Shaun pretty much straight away and the rest is history ☺️.. I dropped out of uni, packed my bags and got my dad to pay for my tickets to move to the Isle of Man .. I literally had no money in the account, no job or a plan but I knew I had to trust my gut and go… We were so excited when we finally moved into our first apartment.. It was one bedroom basement apartment which was dark, cold and damp, we had no furniture, cutlery or bedding but we were so happy as it meant it was our own space ..
From our first apartment in 2005 when we had nothing to out dream home in 2026 that we worked so hard for .. sometimes even when you don’t have a plan beautiful things can happen … ❤️ trust the process ..
