Unmissable July picks for a beautiful home and calmer mind

This month I am sharing five products from brands that are making sustainability feel simple rather than overwhelming. None of these swaps require a complete lifestyle overhaul, but together they can help create a home that feels calmer, healthier and more intentional. As always, these are products I would happily have in my own home and recommend to friends looking for beautiful alternatives to everyday essentials.  Did you see the June edit??

Beauty

One of the easiest sustainable swaps I have made is switching to a refillable natural deodorant. My absolute favourite is FUSSY, you can choose your own case and scent. Subscribe and you will never run out of deodorant! Fussy combines thoughtful design with effective everyday care. The reusable case is beautifully designed, while the compostable refills help reduce unnecessary plastic waste. The scents are not overpowering and there are plenty to choose from. I absolutely love Lavender fields and Shaun’s favourite is Wilderness scent. Don’t forget to use my code “FROMEVIJA” to receive a 15% discount!!

I always appreciate brands that find creative ways to reduce waste without compromising on quality. UpCircle transforms ingredients that would otherwise be discarded into beautifully formulated skincare, proving that sustainability and luxury can go hand in hand. UpCircle is cruelty free ethical beauty brand you definitely need to check out. My pick this month is this moisturiser with vitamin E and aloe vera.

Cleaning products

Creating a calm home isn’t just about decluttering – it also means being more intentional about the products we bring into our spaces. Miniml’s refillable cleaning range helps reduce single-use plastic while using biodegradable ingredients, making everyday cleaning feel a little kinder to both your home and the environment. I especially love supporting a UK company that puts refilling at the heart of its business. We are currently loving the Miniml non-bio laundry liquid and Miniml eco fabric softener.

Food

Small everyday rituals can have a surprisingly big impact on our wellbeing and a nourishing breakfast is one of mine. Pip & Nut’s almond butter has become a favourite because it’s made with simple ingredients and comes from a brand committed to responsible sourcing. Whether spread on sourdough, stirred into porridge or added to smoothies, it’s an easy way to make everyday meals feel a little more special. I absolutely love this peanut butter and use it all the time when cooking or baking.

If you read my June edit, you would have seen the amazing food accounts I shared.

Books

You Can’t Please Everyone by Vex King (Available to Pre-Order)

One book I am especially looking forward to reading this autumn is You Can’t Please Everyone by Vex King. If you’ve ever found yourself putting others’ needs before your own or feeling weighed down by the pressure to meet everyone’s expectations, this promises to be a thoughtful and empowering read. Vex explores the importance of setting healthy boundaries, reconnecting with your inner voice and finding peace by living more authentically. It feels like the perfect addition to a season of slowing down, reflecting and creating a life that feels aligned with your values. I have already pre-ordered my copy as I absolutely love Vex’s books and this promises to be an amazing read!

I truly believe that sustainable living is not about perfection. It is about making small, considered choices that align with our values and bring a little more joy into our daily routines. If even one of these products inspires you to make a simple swap this month, I would say that is a wonderful place to start.
