We have all seen beautiful Christmas decorations on Pinterest or in the magazines and thought I don’t have time to make anything like this or it is too complicated to do! Well this is NOT one of those projects!! This easy Christmas decor took me around 10 minutes to do and was so easy that anyone can make it for the festive season! You can make these vintage tea cup decorations as table settings or Christmas presents for your family and friends.
You will need:-
- Gorilla Super Glue Micro Precise
- Gorilla Super Glue Brush & Nozzle
- Vintage Tea Cup
- Floristry foam
- Pine cones (collect your own or buy from the shops)
- Moss (collect your own or buy artificial)
- Embellishments and Decorations of your choice
Step 1. Cut the floristry foam to the shape of your vintage cup. Don’t worry if you cannot cut the exact shape. Glue the larger piece using the brush to the cup using Gorilla Super Glue Brush & Nozzle, glue one surface and press the 2 surfaces together for 10-45 seconds. Add the smaller pieces to fill the gaps. The floristry foam will give you a nice base and also allow you to add the fir tree branches or the artificial evergreen to the cup and keep it in place.
Step 2. Glue the moss in place. You can use either moss you’ve picked up from the woods (dried) or you can get artificial/real moss from most craft or florist shops.
Step 3. Add the branches to create volume, then glue on the pine cones, embellishments and dried orange slices using Gorilla Super Glue Brush & Nozzle.
Step 4. Glue the smaller embellishments in place using the Gorilla Glue Super Glue Micro Precise. Apply a small amount of glue to the crystal and press in place the two surfaces and hold together for 10-45 seconds.
Allow your creation to dry completely (allow 24 hours to allow the glue to cure) and it is ready to be displayed or gifted!
Have I convinced you to try this easy project out?? Happy Crafting!!
