I only share products I genuinely love and use myself. Here are my June picks for the beautiful home and calmer mind series. As you know I have been recovering from my surgery and have had some quiet time to enjoy a few books, recharge my batteries and relax. I also have been ordering things online to cheer myself up. Here are my June favourites.
Books
I have had time to read and have been hooked on Vex King books. I have just finished Good Vibes Good Life and highly recommend it to anyone. It really made me pause and think for a moment. It is such an easy read as well, I finished the book in a couple of days.
I have been following Africa Daley-Clarke on Instagram for a while now and her website is always such a joy to read. What sets Africa apart is her remarkable kindness and authenticity – she brings a genuine, grounding warmth to everything she shares. Beyond her perspective on life, her eye for design and interiors is incredible and her home is an absolute dream. If you are looking for inspiration on creating a space that feels truly meaningful, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of her gorgeous book, You Are Home.
Beauty
I have been trying to find better beauty items that are cruelty free with less chemicals, toxins and endocrine disruptors. Anything I now purchase I double check to make sure I am using products that are as safe as possible.
PERFUME: Recently I have been trying to find a perfume that echoes my ethos and found this beautiful brand called Sana Jardin. Please do your own research when purchasing any items. I am simply sharing my favourites! Follow this LINK to receive a 10% discount when you spend over £30.

I ordered the discovery set and tried the perfumes and pretty much loved them all. My absolute favourites were – Berber Blonde, Venus of Verbena, Revolution De La Fleur and Tiger by Your Side. Once I ordered the discovery set I received £35 off discount code (YAY), which I used to purchase my 50ml bottle of Berber Blonde and a small bottle of Venus of Verbena (oops). It is a bit spenny, but absolutely worth it.
Founded by Amy Christiansen, Sana Jardin is more than just a perfume brand; it’s a movement dedicated to creating positive social impact while delivering exceptional fragrances.
SKINCARE: I have loved MADARA for years. This brand is made in Latvija (they do deliver internationally!!). My current favourites are the Vitamin Oil and Age Defence day cream.

MAKE UP: I don’t really like to use foundation as it tends to dry my skin. I am 41 and embrace it, so use moisturiser and SPF daily. I normally use tinted moisturiser but actually really love the Skin Equal foundation from MADARA, it is so creamy and definitely gives you a nice natural glow and protects your skin with SPF15.

My favourite drinks
I used to drink 4-5 cups of coffee a day!!! After I discovered my health issues 2 years ago, I decided to completely cut it out and stopped drinking coffee for about a year!! Once the dust settled I decided that coffee is not evil, I just need to make sure I use it as a treat rather than necessity to fuel my day and give me energy. Switching from coffee to green tea has helped with my anxiety as well, so now I do have a cup of coffee now and again and usually as a treat rather than drinking it all the time.
My favourite teas are from Heath & Heather and I usually alternate between Green tea with mint, Green tea with Yasmin or Nettle tea. They have different flavours to choose from.
