Whether you’re looking for an affordable token of appreciation or a luxurious treat, there are plenty of thoughtful Mother’s Day gift ideas to suit every budget. Here’s a guide to some of the gifts you can give your mum this Mother’s Day.

Budget-Friendly Gifts (Under £20)
- Personalised Mug – A custom mug with a heartfelt message or a picture of you together can be a daily reminder of your love. It can be a personalised mug using a photograph or simply text.
- Photo frame and your favourite memory which can be framed. To make it even more personal, why not write a message at the back of the photo.
- Handwritten Letter or DIY Card – Sometimes, words mean more than any expensive gift. Write down your feelings in a beautiful handwritten letter or create a DIY card.
- Handmade Gift – create something yourself. Remember this easy DIY post on how I created a beautiful personalised gift using some modelling clay?

5. Scented Candles – A relaxing lavender or vanilla candle can provide a calming atmosphere for your mum to enjoy. I absolutely love this beautiful candle from M&S and you can find so many beautiful scents online too.

- Luxury Bath Set – Pamper her with a beautifully packaged set of bath salts, oils, and lotions.
- A Cosy Blanket or Slippers – Help her stay warm and comfortable with soft, high-quality slippers or a plush throw.
- Subscription Box – A beauty, book, or food subscription box will let her enjoy surprises beyond Mother’s Day.

Luxury Gifts (£50 and Above)
- Spa Day or Massage Voucher – A relaxing day at the spa is a wonderful way for your mum to unwind and feel pampered. We loved King’s Spa (Isle of Man) and Willow Spa. Why not upgrade to an Afternoon Tea option and spend the day getting pampered with your mum?
- Designer Perfume – A high-end fragrance like Jo Malone or Chanel will make her feel extra special.
- Cooking or Wine Tasting Experience – If she loves food and wine, an interactive experience can be a memorable gift.
- Art or candle making class – why not treat your mum to an art class or candle making class. Check out Soaral candle making class if you are based in the Isle of Man.
- Weekend Getaway – Surprise her with a short trip to the countryside, a charming seaside town, or a cosy Airbnb retreat.
- Theatre or concert tickets – why not treat your mum to her favourite show or concert. Or even cinema. When was the last time you and your mum went to watch something together? My mum absolutely loves going to shows, so we often get her tickets to watch a play, ballet or a concert.
- Luxury candle and skincare set – sometimes we don’t like to spend too much money on ourselves, so it is always nice to be treated to a luxury candle we wouldn’t buy ourselves or skincare that may cost a little more than we usually spend. This is the perfect time to spend a bit extra on these things. Neom are one of my all time favourites. For luxury skincare that actually works, try Elemis.
- Dinner – How about treating your mum to her favourite restaurant?
