Christmas is a magical time for sure, I am so glad to bring this post to you in collaboration with John Lewis.  I took part in a challenge “Decorate your Wreath” and this is what I came up with.

I absolutely adore anything Christmas related and as we have just redecorated our living room, it is nice to have some lovely Christmas decorations for this room.

Our colour scheme has always been silver and white, neutral tones and a little bit of glitter.  The living room has a few lovely colours in now, and as I am obsessed with blue shades at the moment, I really wanted to incorporated a few bright colours to match our decor.

Here is what I picked!

(1) Spruce Wreath With Lights (2)  Into the Woods Premium Pine Garland (3) Winter Palace Glass Baubles (4) Winter Palace Mini Glass Bauble Set (5)  Winter Palace Ribbed Bauble, Royal Blue (6) Winter Palace Asparagus Fern Spray, Silver (7) 35 LED Asparagus Fern Christmas Lights (8) Vivant Winter Palace Boucle Gift Ribbon, Silver

I started by  adding the winter palace ribbed bauble in the centre of the wreath.

I then glued on the smaller baubles and picked the colours so they would match each side.

Once I was happy with the placement of the baubles, I added a few white sparkly berries using my glue gun.

I absolutely love this winter palace asparagus fern spray so I incorporated in the wreath, but clipping off smaller pieces and glueing them on.  To create a nice winter wonderland feel I added some snow paste on the edges of the wreath.

I then put my beautiful wreath on above the fireplace using the boucle gift ribbon and decorated the garland the same way I decorated the wreath.

I then draped the LED asparagus fern Christmas lights around the mirror and I was done! What do you think?

I would love to see your Christmas trees and festive decor – feel free to tag me in the photos either on InstagramFacebook or Twitter!

  1. I am quit partial to blue and silver myself so I just ADORE this wreath and mantle combo. I always want my garland to look like yours but I have never actually taken the time to decorate it at all. This really inspired me. Pinned.
