From Evija with Love – 2 Year Blogiversary

Today is a very exciting day for me!  I know it is Tuesday and not really a big deal to anyone else but for me it marks TWO amazing years blogging on my From Evija with Love blog !  I can’t actually believe it has been 2 years already, looking back at my first ever post I can see how far I have actually come! BUT…. there is still such a long way to go to keep improving!

I started the blog to share my passion for crafts, upcycling and painting furniture.  Almost three years ago we suddenly lost my dad and this blog became my escape and distraction from the world at times.   It allowed me to get lost in my creative madness and actually forget about the world if even for a moment.. This blog has since become a massive part of my life!

I did not really get to celebrate my 1st Blogiversary last year, as I was  not very well. This year I really wanted to mark it as I feel my little blog is growing and for me it IS a massive deal!! So I am not apologising for the cake and the candle!! 🙂

I also wanted to celebrate and say THANK YOU to my wonderful readers!! Without your support this would not be possible! so THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart!!

Last year brought me lovely collaborations & opportunities.  I worked with some amazing brands and also became the Brand Blogger for the OFMP, which is super exciting!

Last year was also a massive year for my husband and I as we bought our first home!!!!!

I absolutely love sharing the renovations and our journey on the blog for you to see! You can catch up with all the posts here.  There is still plenty to come this year!

I also reached a MASSIVE milestone – my DIY gold vase project was viewed a MILLION times on Hometalk! I have framed it and put it on the wall in my craft room to remind me to keep going!

I have so many ideas and projects in mind, sometimes life gets in the way so I get behind a little.. As so many other bloggers I have a full-time job, so my blog is only a hobby at the moment (for now I hope).  Let’s hope that one day it becomes something I can do full-time! Rome was not built in a day as they say…

There is still so much I want to do, make, create, learn… We are only two years old and let’s hope the year ahead is as wonderful, creative and full of amazing things as the last year was!!
