I only share products I genuinely love and would use myself. This is the FIRST “Edit” of the year but it isn’t about achieving everything and starting your year fresh and jumping right into the best version of you. I am not a fan of new year resolutions and think you can change your habits any time of the year by taking one small step at a time. This January picks list isn’t about rushing out and buying everything on it – it is simply a collection of things I find helpful for my own wellbeing. January is naturally a slower month, a time to rest, reset and focus on gentle self-care before fully diving back into the year. Be gentle with yourself and don’t feel pressured to be super active if you don’t feel like it, it’s ok to take it slow, rest and wait for warmer and lighter days to fully dive back in!

Pyjamas
The epitome of relaxing is sleeping in a cosy bed with a cosy set of pyjamas on? This is the absolute dream especially during the colder winter months. I absolutely love staying a bit longer in bed or have an early night, put my PJs on and relax either watching something on TV in bed or reading a book. I am currently obsessed with stripes and burgundy, so this set of PJs is perfect and there is no surprise it has made my January picks list!

Incense sticks
I absolutely love candles and incense sticks, I burn them every single day (sorry family!) Smallest things you do every day can make such a difference to you and your day. White sage incense sticks are traditionally used for cleansing and purifying spaces – perfect for that January reset. When burnt, the smoke is believed to clear negative energy, promote a sense of calm and support focus or meditation. Many people use them in mindfulness rituals, yoga, or spiritual practices to create a peaceful and grounding atmosphere. I love the aroma as it is soothing and refreshing and it calms me down. My favourite is the Song of India Organic goodness white sage incense sticks they smell absolutely beautiful.

Seamoss
I have learnt that wellbeing isn’t about chasing quick fixes or doing everything perfectly. It is about listening to my body, slowing down and choosing what works for me. There are so many supplements and “superfoods” available it is hard to know what works and what doesn’t. I absolutely love this seamoss and it has become part of my wellbeing routine. Seamoss is not miracle cure but it is mineral-rich food that has supported my wellbeing journey for over 2 years now. Simply add a teaspoon to your favourite tea, coffee, smoothie or chilli you are cooking tonight. My favourite is golden seamoss, but you there are several flavours available. Oneself Wellbeing has an amazing selection of supplements including shilajit which is great for energy and chagga mushroom tea, which is pretty nice too!

Matcha
If you are someone who already loves matcha, you will love this suggestion, but if you are new to matcha – here is what you need to know. Matcha is a powerhouse of antioxidants that support overall health, boost energy and focus, aid metabolism AND help protect the body at a cellular level, making it a simple, daily habit for wellbeing and long-term vitality. OMG Matcha is my absolute favourite brand and I urge you to read the story behind it by reading Katherine’s story. My favourite matcha is made by my sister who uses yummy coconut milk. In the summer, we add some ice and smashed strawberries to create a gorgeous iced strawberry matcha.

Candles
You know I am always supporting small businesses and trying to shop local. Imvelo Candle Co is an Isle of Man based company run by the wonderful Tarryn. The candles are absolutely beautiful and I am a huge fan as you know. Tarryn does post to UK and her amazing candles are also sold by Debenhams so go and grab some amazing smelling candles yourself. This month I am sharing my love for Imvelo essential oils collection which is the ultimate relaxation and wellbeing staple. My favourite from this collection is “Uplifting”, simply beautiful and perfect scent for you and your home. You can select from candles, wax melts to oil reed diffusers.

Journaling
Journaling may not be for everyone, but I highly recommend it. It has helped me through a very difficult time and sometimes writing down what you have been holding inside makes all the difference. If you are not sure where to start LSW Mind Notes journal is the perfect place to start. This is a six‑month guided journal designed to help you slow down, reflect and reconnect with what truly matters to you. With daily prompts, weekly reflection pages, positive affirmations, mindful exercises and space to track patterns in your thoughts and behaviour.
