You know how much I love doing things on a budget! Just take a look at our house and the various projects I have done throughout the years! So it was no surprise I jumped at the chance to collaborate with Homebase on this fun Christmas project! Let’s be honest, not all of us have unlimited budget when it comes to Christmas.

I really love Christmas, I just think there is something about this magical time of the year. Unfortunately, sometimes Christmas can also be quite hard on some families. We all want to have beautiful decorations and tree in our home, prepare a lovely meal on Christmas day and have lots of presents under our tree! Hopefully, I can show you that you don’t always need a huge budget to make your house ready for Christmas!!

As our dining room is currently filled with kitchen cabinets, I decided to bring some Christmas spirit into our newly decorated bedroom. Who says you can’t have a Christmas tree in your bedroom??

I had no idea what was in the box so it was a lovely surprise when I first opened it! There was a Christmas tree, a set of shatterproof ornaments and some lights in the box – everything you need to create a beautiful festive feel. I decorated my tree and added some pine cones and some silver beads. All this for under £25 (including the tree!!!)

Happy Christmas everyone!

  1. Your tree and decorations looks amazing and I cannot believe it cost only 25 pounds!! This just proves you don’t need to spend hundreds on christmas decor, well done

  2. What a beautiful set of decorations! We stopped spending hundreds on Christmas decorations a while ago. There are plenty of options on a budget and we always do some DIY decorations as well
